Philosophers, writers and scientists are all using walking as a way to think. Some hiked in the woods, in the mountains, along the coastlines, in their city or even just around their house. Charles Darwin even had his very own hiking path designed: “the sand walk” that he would walk every day, while thinking up and exploring new ideas. Putting a small pebble at each round to help him keep track of how far he had walked
