Boulder elf on stone

Hiking can open doors to worlds of imagination

Late night stone elf music in the wind

Walking by a huge boulder my thoughts walks on, seeing strange small creatures coming out playing music. Love how kids do this all the time, making up stories, as they walk through the terrain, filling the landscapes with much more than meets the eye, filling the location with stories that makes sense and creates places

As I walk past, a sudden thought make me turn around and look back at the huge boulder from the beginning of time, I stop and see small shy boulder elf musicians, wearing strange hats, living of berries and water from the stream. See them coming out in the twilight, under the moon, with their instruments and start to make music, music that sounds like nothing else, and they only play when they believe no humans are around…
