There is an old saying, that you don’t really know how far away something is before you have taken the time it takes to walk to it. Maybe because every step you take is a way to understand not only distance but time itself. Walking is much much older and wiser than modern timekeeping. In the pre-clock world, timekeeping might have been measured as distance walked in ways, very different from our digital timekeeping, that connect time and space into one… A special place / flow that it might still be possible to connect to – by escaping the clock and enter the timeless outdoors on foot
